This is LOkke

The bandmates of Lokke connected as students at the Shorewood, WI, School of Rock, where they discovered shared musical tastes, a love of playing and performing music and a mutual respect for one another’s talents. They have studied and performed a wide variety of music together, but all share a fondness for hard rock/classic metal.

Although they hail from different Milwaukee-area communities, the young musicians nevertheless committed to forming their own band and collaborating to pursue their passion for playing rock music. They enjoy covering artists including Metallica, Van Halen, Alter Bridge, Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, Billy Idol, Pearl Jam, Guns ‘N’ Roses and more.

Vocalist Max Neumann (Whitefish Bay) fronts the band with an engaging performance style and talent for inhabiting the character of a song while guitarists Saul Dinauer (Fox Point) and Michael Milaitis (Brookfield) deliver on the shredding with a potent mix of technical precision and improvised interpretation. The rhythm section of bassist Andrew Arndorfer (Shorewood) and drummer Julian Singh (Whitefish Bay) keep it tight with a hard-rocking groove, while Jack Koshkin (Shorewood) handles the keys.

During the past three years, these musicians have performed on stages at iconic Milwaukee venues including the Miramar Theater, Hotel Foster, G-Daddy’s BBC Bar & Grill, The Metal Grill, Linneman’s Riverwest Inn, Red White & Blue Bar, the Harley Davidson Museum and Three Lions Pub, as well as popular local festivals like Summer Soulstice, Bastille Days, Brady Street Festival, Summerfest, the Wisconsin State Fair, Racine’s Party on the Pavement, Franksville’s Krautfest, St. Robert Parish Fair, and have recently appeared on WTMJ-4's The Morning Blend.

The band’s name stems from Danish folklore, in which Loki/Lokke is a god of mischief whose presence was used to explain natural phenomena, including rising heat.
